Santiago’s Municipal Theater has 5 main workshops that make the staging of plays possible: costumes, rigging, props, sculpture, and audience. Each of the couples in our studio had the goal of producing a book about one of these workshops. My partner and I worked with the props workshop, located in a shed on Herrera street.

A book about the Municipal Theater’s props workshop, called Herrera. This project involved taking photographs, researching the information that was going to be in the book and composing the final edition. We visited the props team to observe and learn about their work, interview them, and take pictures. We agreed on the overall graphic style of the books with the other teams, in order to achieve a consistent, unified collection.
